Coming Soon: Context Booster for Evernote

Context Booster by the Otherland group has just won the Silver Award in Evernote’s Devcup competition for the best new apps on the Evernote platform and it has the potential to be the genealogist’s new favourite research assistant.

Picture Google Alerts for Evernote, on steroids.

Context Booster will work with Evernote to search the web for more information about any note you post.

Simply create a new note in Evernote and add the tag ‘contextboost’ to the note. Context Boost will then analyse your note and extract the most important keywords. It will then go out and search the web for further relevant information and add more notes to your original.

Context Boost is also integrated with Twitter. Favourite a tweet containing a link and it will be added to Evernote and tagged with ‘contextboost’ automatically enriching the original content.

Create a new note in evernote with a picture of a book, CD or DVD and Context Boost will recognize it and ‘boost’ the content!

Watch the video below to find out more about this promising Evernote integration or join the waiting list at Context Booster so that you can be one of the first to try out this great new tool.
