I just discovered Statista, a very interesting website with statistics on all different subjects. Their home page advertises that they have over one million statistics from over 18,000 sources and in addition to statistics and charts, they have many interesting infographics. Below is one of the charts I found while searching for ‘history’.
Statista’s latest chart featured in the Independent took a glance at the history of the British empire. According to the book “All the Countries We’ve Ever Invaded: And the Few We Never Got Round To”, there are only 22 countries Britain never invaded throughout the course of history.
