Longest Rap Sheet Ever

Timothy O’Hare of Waterford had one of the longest rap sheets ever and was well known to the police.

  1. 11 Oct 1870 (after age 17) drunk at Broad street and fined 6d and 6d costs; Waterford City Police Court, Waterford City
  2. 14 Sep 1871 (after age 18) drunk at Rose Lane last night and imprisoned for one week; Waterford City Police Court, Waterford City
  3. 6 May 1872 (after age 19) riotous, etc behaviour and put in gaol for 48 hours; Waterford Prison, Waterford City
  4. 3 Sep 1873 (after age 20) being drunk and furiously driving a car at New Gate Street and fined £2 6d and 6d costs or only calendar month imprisonment at hard labour; Waterford City Police Court, Waterford City
  5. 27 Jan 1874 (after age 20) bring drunk while in charge of a horse and car at the Mall; Waterford City Police Court, Waterford City
  6. 27 Jan 1874 (after age 20) assaulting Thomas McCarthy and sentenced to three months in gaol; Waterford Prison, Waterford City
